Cole Island welcomes geocachers

Who wouldn't like to find a hidden treasure?
Geocaching is a modern form of treasure hunting and has become a
popular pastime for many individuals and families. Participants,
called geocachers, try to find a hidden “cache” using a global
positioning system or GPS. There are millions of geocaches
placed all over the world and hundreds stashed all around
Victoria! Typically, when a cache is found, the geocacher
will enter the date it was found in the hidden logbook and
sign their code name. Some geocaches also contain
items for trading, usually inexpensive toys or trinkets.
The real fun is finding it. Maybe there's a geocache hidden on
Cole Island.

Anyone can get in on the fun and you can register for free.
